The Inn at Green Hills Community (Assisted Living) has a need a Personal Service Assistant to provide direct care to residents as indicated in their service plan as well as promote independence while providing excellent customer service. As a PSA, you will support the philosophy of promoting resident independence in a residential setting and provide a clean, orderly, safe, and odor free environment for residents. Other responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
* Assisting residents with personal hygiene, such as bathing, nail care, oral hygiene, shaving, skin care etc.
* Assist with nutrition, such as serving trays at mealtimes, assisting residents to and from the dining room, keeping snack area supplied
* Answer call lights promptly
* Take vitals
* Assist in activities as needed
* Light housekeeping in common areas and in resident apartments

Job Type: Part Time
Experience/Certification Required:
Possess a high school diploma or its equivalent.
* Ability to read, write, and understand information in English.
· Successfully completed training or continuing education covering correct techniques of providing personal care services, observational skills, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Successful completion of the American Red Cross Standard First-Aid Course or first aid training taught by a qualified instructor and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) preferred.
