The City of Marysville, which serves as the county seat of Union County, is a community rich with small town charm balanced with rapidly growing neighborhoods. As the longtime center of commerce and industry in Union County, Marysville has witnessed exceptional growth in the past decade. The city’s safe neighborhoods, excellent educational system, quaint Uptown District, and outstanding quality of life each contribute to its attractiveness to residents and businesses alike.
As one of the fastest growing cities in Central Ohio, community leaders have wisely invested significantly in the development of new community amenities and recreational opportunities, upgrades to public infrastructure, and new transportation technologies. These investments will ensure that Marysville can accommodate new growth for decades to come.

Located just minutes from I-270 and Columbus, Plain City residents benefit from living in a charming, rural community while having big city amenities and entertainment close-by. The village is popular with residents and visitors alike due to its rich agricultural heritage, natural beauty, and popular destinations such as the Der Dutchman restaurant and other Amish and Mennonite-oriented businesses.
A growing community, Plain City features a timeless quality thanks to its historic Uptown, tree-lined streets, safe neighborhoods, and quality educational system. Recreational opportunities abound at Pastime Park, a 40-acre community park that features a new aquatics center, campground, disc golf course, and ball fields. Plain City is also the northern terminus of the Heritage Trail, a 7-mile multipurpose trail that connects to nearby Hilliard and points beyond.
Village of Richwood
Where the Clock Strikes Hospitality
Population: 2,373
www.richwoodohio.org
Richwood is proud of its agricultural heritage and is known for the friendliness of its residents. Throughout the year, the community gathers to enjoy popular events like the Richwood Independent Fair, Richwood Christmas Parade, and Richwood Hospitality Night, among others. These events provide an opportunity for the village to showcase their community.
Amid Richwood’s historic downtown is Richwood Park, a beautiful 29-acre park and lake that offers fishing, swimming, picnic shelters, playgrounds, horseshoes, basketball courts, and ball diamonds. In 2018, after years of planning and fundraising, work was completed on a 1-mile paved trail around Richwood Lake.
A community landmark that embodies the pioneering spirit of the village is the grand Richwood Opera House. The historic building was constructed in 1890 to house the town hall, fire department, jail, and opera house. Its clock tower looms above the community and is the genesis of the Richwood’s motto: “Where the Clock Strikes Hospitality.”
City of Dublin
It's Greener in Dublin
Population: 47,619

Dublin is widely known for its outstanding amenities and quality of life. Through well-managed growth and strategic investments, the community has been able to preserve its early nineteenth century architecture, stone fences and vast open space, while also ensuring that residents enjoy ample shopping, entertainment, and cultural activities.
Due in part to its strategic location along I-270 just northwest of Columbus, Dublin has witnessed substantial office, retail, and residential growth. The community boasts over 4,300 businesses, including world-class corporations such as Cardinal Health and Wendy’s Corporation.
To accommodate future growth, the City and various partners recently embarked on the Bridge Park District project, a multimillion-dollar mixed use development that will usher in a new era of urban growth for the community.
